Family and consumer sciences programs help people address the following critical issues:
- Building strong families through better parenting skills, conflict management skills and shared values.
- Improving nutrition and lifestyle choices from infancy through retirement.
- Managing time, money and other resources.
- Addressing community health and environmental concerns.
